We are looking for a dynamic Product Design Manager to join our Technology & Innovation team. This pivotal role offers the chance to shape the future of construction through the development and delivery of multi-disciplinary, product-led building systems. Role Responsibilities:
- Drive the development of standardised building systems and kits of parts across programmes, ensuring compliance, flexibility and sector relevance.
- Lead conceptual design for healthcare and defence projects, aligning outputs with performance, safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with product teams to refine materials and systems, supporting decarbonisation and MMC innovation.
- Shape design briefs and guide early-stage decision-making through option studies and rationalisation.
- Champion DfMA principles to optimise concept designs for repeatable, scalable delivery.
- Support BIM workflows and digital integration to ensure clarity and traceability across disciplines.
- Manage internal and external teams, lead collaborative design reviews and uphold governance standards across the supply chain.
- Work closely with our in-house manufacturing facility for a kit of parts approach.
Core Skills And Experience Required:
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture or similar industry experience.
- Working towards or holding chartered status.
- Able to manage design process that utilises DFMA.
- Knowledge of standardised components.
- Knowledge of Eurocodes, Building Safety and JSPs.
- Ability to identify critical design interfaces.
