Explore Manufacturing are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team at the Laing O'Rourke Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction, Europe's largest and most advanced pre-assembly manufacturing facility in Worksop.

What will the Assistant Quantity Surveyor role look like?
- All Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, valuation and agreement of work sections.
- Assist with preparation of interim applications for payment and internal valuations.
- Measurement and agreement of simple subcontractors' accounts.
- Assisting in preparation of loss and expense submissions.
- Preparation and agreement of records.
- Assisting with the preparation of final account, including pricing.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly contract review reports.
- Progress towards and achieve professional status.
- Keep your manager fully advised of any issue/risk which has arisen or might arise and which could affect the business/project.

- Strong negotiation, financial control, and risk management skills.
- A team player who takes initiative and thrives under pressure.
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline (Quantity Surveying).
- Desire to learn the risk and opportunity process both internal and with our client.
