Role Overview

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support experienced tradespeople with the installation of mechanical service modules that are delivered to a wide range of UK projects. These modules are then installed on site by a separate LOR team to create exciting new developments, including hospitals, schools, football stadiums, and airports.

As a Pipe Fitter, you will be part of a delivery-focused assembly team. You will be provided with steel frames of varying shapes and sizes, incorporating welded pipework produced by other areas of the business. Using modern installation methods and working from fixed designs, you will be responsible for installing pipework into these frames.

You will assemble a wide range of mechanical pipework services, from smaller fabrications to larger packaged plant rooms, while learning the principles of valve arrangements and mechanical plant. The role offers the opportunity to develop both traditional and modern pipe fitting skills, with hands-on experience in fabrication and installation techniques. Every day, you will play a key role in delivering one of our many exciting projects. The safety of our workforce is our primary focus at CHtM.
