Senior HR Advisor Sizewell C | Ipswich with travel to London (min 2 days per week) Permanent

Help shape the team behind one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. Sizewell C is playing a critical role in delivering Britain's clean energy future. As one of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK, we are building the teams, capability and culture needed to deliver a new generation of nuclear power.

We are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join our Central Functions HR team, supporting leaders and employees across a diverse and growing project environment. This is an opportunity to influence people's decisions, support organisational growth and help create a positive employee experience on a nationally significant programme.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will provide practical HR support and guidance across a broad range of people activities. Working closely with managers and stakeholders, you will help deliver people initiatives, support organisational change and contribute to building a high-performing and inclusive workplace.

What you will be doing

  • As a Senior HR Advisor, you will work closely with leaders and employees across the Sizewell C project, providing practical people support that enables teams to perform at their best.
  • You will play a key role in delivering people initiatives, supporting organisational growth and helping managers navigate the day-to-day challenges that come with a large and evolving project environment.
  • This is a varied role offering exposure to a broad range of HR activities, stakeholder groups and strategic people priorities.
  • Partnering with managers to provide practical advice and support on a wide range of people matters.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities across the project.
  • Contributing to organisational change, employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Using people data and insight to identify trends, support decision making and help drive continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, supporting others and finding practical solutions to people challenges. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and partnering with managers to deliver positive outcomes.

Whether your experience has been gained within construction, infrastructure, engineering or another complex organisation, we are interested in hearing from people who bring curiosity, sound judgement and a collaborative approach to their work.

You will likely bring:

  • Experience in a generalist HR role within a fast-paced or complex organisation.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively with managers and stakeholders.
  • A good understanding of HR policies, processes and employment legislation.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification, equivalent experience, or a commitment to continuing your professional development.
  • Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, utilities or other project-based environments would be beneficial, but is not essential.
