This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes – Sizewell C – a once-in-a-generation clean energy project that will help power over 6 million homes for decades to come. Working within the Civil Works Alliance (a partnership between Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke), you'll play a key role in transforming how complex construction activities are planned, visualised and communicated through digital technologies.
As a Digital Adoption Co-ordinator – 4D Planning & Animation, you'll support the development and adoption of 4D planning processes, digital simulations and visual communications that help project teams better understand construction methodologies and sequencing. Working closely with Digital, Planning and Engineering teams, you'll develop innovative solutions that improve collaboration, decision‑making and project delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the development and implementation of 4D planning processes across the project
- Configuring and administering Synchro Pro and Synchro Control to support programme management and construction sequencing
- Developing workflows that improve programme reviews and support efficient project planning
- Producing high-quality 4D simulations and animation outputs that communicate construction methodologies to project teams and stakeholders
- Creating digital visualisations that support engineering, planning, construction and external communications
- Developing and maintaining libraries of 3D assets, temporary works components and material textures
- Supporting the packaging of 4D simulations and digital visualisations for use on mobile devices in the field
- Delivering training and guidance to project teams to encourage adoption of digital planning tools and workflows
- Working collaboratively with Digital, Planning and Engineering teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Supporting the wider Digital strategy through innovation, process improvement and the adoption of modern digital technologies
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with 4D planning, digital engineering or construction visualisation within infrastructure or construction projects
- Experience using Synchro Pro, Synchro Control or similar 4D planning software
- Knowledge of construction planning and programme sequencing
- Experience producing high-quality animations and digital visualisations for engineering or construction projects
- Strong 3D modelling skills using software such as Blender, 3ds Max or similar platforms
- Understanding of ISO 19650 and digital information management principles
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to train and support project teams
- A proactive approach to problem solving, innovation and continuous improvement
- Experience with Bentley Infrastructure Cloud or similar digital platforms would be advantageous
