Shape the future of building safety on two landmark projects: As the Designated Individual under the Building Regulations 2010 (as amended), you will ensure compliance with Part 2A duties, manage relationships with Principal Designer Advisors, and embed building safety into every stage of design and delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the planning, management, and monitoring of design compliance with UK Building Regulations.
  • Drive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Champion competence frameworks and building safety systems.
  • Provide regulatory intelligence and training to project teams.
  • Oversee design risk management for higher‑risk building work.

What You’ll Bring

  • Circa 10 years’ experience in design or construction leadership.
  • Expertise in navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
  • Chartered (or working towards) status with RIBA, CABE, RICS, or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
