Have you worked contractor-side and do you have experience of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA)? Then our in-house MEP Engineering business, Crown House Technologies (CHt), could be the place for you. We are seeking an experienced MEP Digital Engineers / Revit Coordinators to join our team working on the Monklands Project — a landmark £300m new-build hospital on the outskirts of Glasgow. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the digital delivery of a complex, highly regulated healthcare project with long-term community impact.
At CHt, our Digital Design Centre engineers fully develop and engineer projects before they reach site. This approach enables optimised engineered solutions, maximised off-site manufacturing, reduced waste, and improved programme certainty. On Monklands, you will be part of an integrated project team aligned to our strategy of DfMA, digital engineering excellence, and early stakeholder engagement. What will the role look like?
- Review and coordinate MEP design information to ensure completeness, compliance, and buildability, considering programme, safety, maintenance, and technical requirements.
- Support the implementation, management, and control of digital design information across all project stages.
- Assist with reporting on design progress, coordination issues, and interface management in line with the Monklands project programme.
- Work closely with construction, manufacturing, and design teams to support DfMA-led solutions suitable for healthcare environments.
What you'll need:
- Contractor-side experience in MEP Digital Design / BIM Coordination, ideally with exposure to DfMA.
- A relevant qualification such as a degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, MEP, MEICA, or an industry-recognised technical qualification (NVQ Level 4+).
- Experience collaborating with design consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
- Good knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and healthcare project requirements.
- Proficiency in Revit, including Fabrication Parts.
Technical Skills & Capabilities:
- Ownership of design briefs and design optimisation.
- Strong understanding and practical application of DfMA principles.
- Experience managing design teams and consultant interfaces.
- Robust information management and change control processes.
