Laing O\’Rourke is looking to build a bank of trusted freelance / interim Design Managers across multiple sectors and disciplines to support gaps in internal resource. Whether your background is Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, or Civils, we want to hear from you.
Live roles:
- Electrical Design Manager – Letchmore Substation – Kings Cross based initially before moving to site in Elstree, Hertfordshire
These are all interim roles – 3–6 months – either while we recruit permanently or until internal resource is available.

- Airports & Aviation – including London International airports
- Healthcare – including Monklands Replacement Hospital, the UK\’s largest
- Life Sciences – including the Ellison Institute of Technology in Oxford
