About the Role:
As a ductwork Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and timely estimates for ventilation systems and projects. You will use Ensign Software to produce detailed costings and ensure that all project specifications and requirements are met. Working closely with in house ductwork self-delivery department and engineering teams, you\’ll ensure that each project is properly costed and delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use Ensign Software to prepare accurate estimates for ductwork projects. (training can be provided if you\’re new to Ensign)
- Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements to determine the scope and cost of work.
- Coordinate with design and project teams to clarify details and ensure estimates reflect the most up-to-date project information.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and internal teams.
- Provide support during the tender process, reviewing submissions, and identifying potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.
What We\’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a ductwork or ventilation Estimator within the construction or building services industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience using Ensign Software for estimating and cost management.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with complex technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ventilation systems and damper compliance.
