We\βre looking for a Digital Engineer or Senior Digital Engineer to join our Central Services team in Dartford, helping to shape winning bids and deliver outstanding digital solutions for complex construction projects.
You\βll have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of major project types, including healthcare, data centres, Ministry of Defence (MoD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ), and power infrastructure and science & research facilities, helping bring clarity to complexity through compelling digital content.
You\βll use your expertise in construction and structural MEP engineering to produce advanced 3D models, 4D simulations, and 5D quantification outputs, turning technical information into clear, compelling visual stories. Experience in digital delivery, 4D sequencing, or technical coordination will help you thrive in this role.
Please note: Candidates with purely architectural backgrounds may not be the right fit for this role.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage detailed 3D and 4D models, showing construction sequencing, staging, and logistics.
- Deliver 5D model-based quantification and visual outputs.
- Develop engaging animations and visualisations for bids, planning, and project communication.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to coordinate digital solutions.
- Champion best practice in digital engineering, helping to improve standards across the business.
- Mentor colleagues, sharing skills in modelling, sequencing, and quantification techniques.
What You\βll Bring
- A degree or equivalent experience in construction, civil engineering, or related fields (not purely architectural).
- Strong skills in 3D modelling (Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar), visualisation tools (Lumion, Twinmotion, etc.), and animation/post-production software (Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Experience with 4D planning tools (Synchro Pro or similar) and model-based quantification (NRM1).
- Great communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing deadlines effectively.
- Advanced visualisation tools (3DS Max, Unreal Engine, etc.) β (nice to have)
- Coding knowledge (Dynamo, Python, HTML) β (nice to have)
- Experience with Solibri, Trimble Connect, or Power BI β (nice to have)
- Recognised BIM qualification or certification β (nice to have)
