We want someone excited to work for an incredible company like Laing O’Rourke and keen to learn every step of the way. As a Proposals Specialist, you’ll support the collation and production of proposal and presentation materials. You’ll work as part of our in-house, multi-disciplinary team, creating response templates, applying our house style consistently, and ensuring submissions are polished and professional. It’s a hands-on role where your curiosity and attention to detail will help us deliver outstanding proposals.
Key responsibilities:- Create templates, maintain consistent formatting and publish documents and presentations that are structured, orderly and aesthetically pleasing.
- Meet internal and external deadlines.
- Ensure bids and presentations look appealing, well-structured, consistently follow company/brand guidelines and are easy to navigate.
- Organise and manage workflow by tracking the progress of components as they are completed.
- Support proposals and bid teams with technical document production.
- Manage workload with other Proposals Specialists to meet peaks in production.
- Source information and images from our collateral system for use within bid submissions.
- Complete housekeeping administration at the end of each submission.
- Experience in document production, ready to take more responsibility in a larger team or on bigger pursuits.
- Excellent skills across the Microsoft stack: SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- A self-starter who can proactively influence and drive outcomes.
- Collaborative worker with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, to ensure consistent high standards.
- Can organise themselves to meet challenging deadlines.
