About the role

This role sits within our Select Plant Hire team and is focused on taking ownership of key administrative and operational processes that keep the function running smoothly. The successful candidate will primarily manage certificate uploads and damages, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely completion. There is also scope to support with disposals over time. Alongside this, the role will provide ad hoc support to the hire desk, assisting with inbox management and customer queries when required. This is a role that requires strong attention to detail and consistency, with the ability to prioritise effectively and switch between tasks when needed.

What will the role look like?

  • Take ownership of certificate uploads, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
  • Manage and track damages, liaising with internal teams to resolve issues
  • Support with disposals activity where required
  • Provide additional support to the hire desk inbox during busy periods
  • Handle incoming calls and queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records and support general administrative processes
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth day to day operations
  • Uphold health, safety and compliance standards at all times
