Key Responsibilities
  • Parametric & computational design: You will lead the development of parametric and rule-based design approaches that translate engineering intent into scalable, repeatable digital solutions. This includes creating configurable product models and applying generative design techniques to support DfMA outcomes.
  • DfMA & production: You will play a key role in advancing industrialised construction by embedding DfMA principles into design workflows and supporting the transition from project-based delivery to product-based platforms. Collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams will ensure solutions are optimised for real-world production and assembly.
  • BIM & digital workflows: Working within BIM environments, you will help connect design, manufacturing and delivery through robust digital workflows, improving efficiency, consistency and traceability across the lifecycle.
  • Manufacturing integration: You will collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs align with production realities, driving efficiency, material optimisation and repeatability through digital manufacturing workflows.
  • Innovation & collaboration: As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to innovation across engineering, design and manufacturing, helping to evolve new tools, workflows and product platforms while promoting continuous improvement.
