Laing O'Rourke has an excellent opportunity to join our UK Proposals Team. Every successful pursuit is a team effort and our collaborative approach has achieved a peer‑group leading bid success rate. As a Bid Manager, you'll work across multiple concurrent pursuits, partnering with our in‑house proposals specialists, bid leaders and subject matter experts. This is where experience, innovation and intent come together to create submissions that stand out. We're looking for an emerging leader, someone proactive, organised and driven to produce exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop compelling, benefit‑led proposal content showcasing our value to clients.
  • Project manage high‑quality submission materials and presentations.
  • Provide clear direction to our in‑house proposals team and coordinate activity effectively.
  • Combine strong writing, great design and 4D visualisation by collaborating with our graphic design, digital engineering and visualisation teams.
  • Work closely with the head of proposals, bid leaders and SMEs to deliver multiple pursuits successfully.
  • Lead review sessions and provide constructive feedback to ensure responses meet all requirements and scoring criteria.
  • Capture lessons learned, share insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Use technology effectively to maximise productivity and responsiveness.
