Are you an Azure Cloud Engineer who can optimise the infrastructure/operational performance and reliability? Then this role has the perfect blend of operational activity and project work. Bring us your creative side to design and implement automated tools and frameworks for continuous integration. In return we will support your development and enhance your skills.
You will be monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to infrastructure tools such as Active Directory, Office365, Microsoft Entra. Can you manage minor projects in a more agile but controlled manner by ensuring documentation and handover is completed successfully?
Key Deliverables and Accountabilities:- Collaborating with the internal Infrastructure Engineering Team and Architecture Team to understand the strategy and pipeline of upcoming projects.
- Configuring and managing cloud infrastructure and services such as Azure.
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, including provisioning and configuring virtual machines, containers, and storage solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency in the operational infrastructure team.
- Documenting processes and procedures to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Working actively in building cloud infrastructure closely with the Infrastructure Engineering Team.
- Collaborating with the technical leads and partners to implement solutions and modernize working methods.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Solid understanding around scripting and the IAC, Github, Terraform environment.
- Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement security controls at the infrastructure level.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to solve real-world technology challenges.

- Meticulous and deadline conscious.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another relevant field or equivalent.
