What Professional Accreditation can be achieved through this role:

Chartered Environmentalist with ISEP or Chartered Engineer with a relevant institution

Key Responsibilities – What you'll do:

The Graduate Whole Life Carbon Assistant will sit within the Sustainability Function, supporting the Carbon Solutions Team to implement carbon management processes, measure and validate project emissions, and turn data into insights that help project teams reduce whole life carbon and deliver decarbonised solutions during pre-construction and delivery.

  • Support the implementation of carbon management processes, plans and project requirements across design and delivery stages of construction projects
  • Measure, validate and report project carbon emissions using approved tools, datasets and assumptions
  • Use One Click LCA and internal systems to support carbon assessments, benchmarks and reduction options
  • Review carbon information, including environmental product declarations (EPDs) and supplier data, to improve data quality and assurance
  • Analyse project carbon data to identify trends, lessons learned and practical opportunities for reduction
  • Support with the development of case studies, guidance and communications to share good practice and support work winning
  • Support training, knowledge sharing and engagement with project teams, designers, suppliers and consultants

Location: National

We are recruiting for locations that we anticipate having Early Talent roles for at the time of our next programme commencement. Please note that due to the nature of the business, there could be changes to locations noted.

Our projects are based across the UK (National) so you'll need to be prepared to be flexible about where you work. Depending on project requirements, this may involve travelling, staying away from home during the week, or relocating closer to a project site. In return, you'll gain valuable experience working on a variety of projects, helping you develop your skills and broaden your career opportunities.
