We're looking for a PrincipalMEP Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning process across all MEP systems. In this role, you'll take ownership of strategy and delivery, lead commissioning teams, coordinate specialist contractors, and manage all testing, validation, and handover activities to ensure a fully operational building.

Keyresponsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Commissioning Execution Plan, including strategy, methodology, and fully resourced programme.
  • Manage all commissioning stages, including:
    • Static Completion
    • Pre-functional Testing
    • Functional Testing
    • Integrated System Testing
    • Building Performance Testing
  • Oversee and verify Factory Acceptance Testing and site-based commissioning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with BSRIA, CIBSE, CSA, IET codes of practice, Building Regulations, and BREEAM requirements.
  • Drive the commissioning programme, monitor progress, and advise on potential delays.
  • Manage documentation, reporting, and production of the final Commissioning Report.
  • Ensure safe commissioning practices and adherence to all health and safety standards.
  • Plan and deliver Employer training, seasonal commissioning, and post-PC monitoring.

What are we looking for?

  • Extensive, recent experience managing commissioning on complex MEP projects.
  • Strong knowledge of designprinciples, building operation, and commissioning codes of practice.
  • CSA Grade 6 or CM2accreditation (or equivalent proven experience).
  • Excellent leadership,communication, and resource planning skills.
  • Ability to produce detailedcommissioning strategies, schedules, and reports.
