What are we looking for? We are looking for people with a genuine interest in construction and the built environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and ambitious, with the potential to progress to a supervisory / management role over a five-to-ten-year period.
Role Overview: Groundworkers are essential to the successful delivery of construction projects, playing a key role in preparing sites and ensuring strong, stable foundations for buildings and infrastructure. The role requires a good level of physical fitness, practical knowledge of construction methods, and an understanding of commonly used materials. Initially, groundworkers assist with site preparation, including the safe unloading, handling, and storage of materials. As work progresses, they support a range of construction activities that form the groundwork for all subsequent building operations.
Location: Margam Substation, Wales
Entry requirements:
- Eligibility without restrictions to work in the UK with a valid work permit if applicable.
- Full mobility to enable travel to various project locations if required.
- Attainment of 3 GCSEs or equivalent.
