With a blank canvass you will be instrumental in supporting procurement strategies, policies and processes. You will draw on your skills to enhance the way we win work and deliver a collaborative relationship with our project teams.

As an Assistant Procurement Manager you will work on supporting the procurement strategy with the Procurement Manager. You will be responsible for supporting procurement objectives and requirements. Are you interested in supporting the procurement and C&M with tendering, market analysis and supplier selection? If the answer is yes check out the duties below.

  • Knowledge of sustainable procurement, business sustainable standards, supply chain members, processes and requirements during work winning and live project environments.

  • Knowledge base of Suppliers, Sub-Contractors and Services through robust and ethical Procurement processes.

  • An understanding of budgets, to enable assistance with efficient and cost effective delivery.

  • An understanding of the Procurement quality management system (QMS) and tools to embed best practice, processes and procedures.

  • Providing internal and external Customer satisfaction and develop an understanding and in turn compliance with professional standards.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of Procurement and commercial principles.

Day to day you will be involved in sourcing and agreeing the supply chain, tendering activities, making recommendations for award and drafting contracts.
