Your Role:
As Senior Design Manager, you\’ll lead the design management of complex architectural and façade packages, ensuring design quality, buildability, and compliance are embedded at every stage. You\’ll coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, engage with top-tier consultants and suppliers, and drive innovation in design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of architectural and façade design from pre-construction through to project handover
- Lead design reviews, manage queries, and ensure alignment with project programme and technical requirements
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and delivery teams to drive best practice and innovative solutions
- Proactively manage design risk, change processes, and statutory compliance
- Mentor junior design management team members, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
What You\’ll Bring:
- Degree-qualified in Architecture, Civil, Structural, or a related discipline
- Chartered status preferred (or working towards)
- Proven track record in design management of complex architectural and façade packages
- Experience in large-scale commercial, life sciences, or high-specification developments
