Your Role:
As Senior Design Manager, you\’ll lead the design management of complex architectural and façade packages, ensuring design quality, buildability, and compliance are embedded at every stage. You\’ll coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, engage with top-tier consultants and suppliers, and drive innovation in design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of architectural and façade design from pre-construction through to project handover
  • Lead design reviews, manage queries, and ensure alignment with project programme and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and delivery teams to drive best practice and innovative solutions
  • Proactively manage design risk, change processes, and statutory compliance
  • Mentor junior design management team members, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

What You\’ll Bring:

  • Degree-qualified in Architecture, Civil, Structural, or a related discipline
  • Chartered status preferred (or working towards)
  • Proven track record in design management of complex architectural and façade packages
  • Experience in large-scale commercial, life sciences, or high-specification developments
  • Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of design governance, technical assurance, and construction interface requirements
