Environment and Sustainability Reporting Manager

Location: Ipswich Project Office / Sizewell C Project Site

Join the exciting journey of one of the UK\’s largest nuclear projects at Sizewell C! At the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), we\’re actively shaping the future of energy by supporting the construction of Sizewell C, a transformative 3.2-gigawatt power station that will supply low-carbon electricity to around 6 million homes. This is your chance to join us in a role that is not only pivotal to this ambitious project but also instrumental in advancing sustainability and compliance standards.

We are currently seeking an Environment and Sustainability Reporting Manager to join our ESG team. This role is designed for a professional ready to make an impact through:

  • Implementing ESG Compliance Strategies: You\’ll support the development and direction of ESG within the project, ensuring alignment with strategic and technical goals. Your work will help meet legal, company, and regulatory standards.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Conduct internal audits and use data-driven insights to guide sustainability decisions, promoting best practices and collaboration across the programme.
  • Promoting ESG Engagement: Contribute to recognition and incentive schemes to boost ESG participation, lead initiatives, and support the development of an ESG culture within CWA.
  • Building Relationships: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with the ESG Leadership Team to deliver training and competence plans.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the Civils/Utilities industry within an ESG or Environmental/Sustainability compliance role.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, and the ability to positively influence ESG initiatives.
  • Experience in implementing ISO 14001 and a solid understanding of the construction sector.
  • A dedication to key competencies such as humility, positivity, respect, solidarity, and clarity.
