Overview

Laing O\’Rourke is seeking an organised and proactive Administrator to join their dynamic team, supporting the Interchange project. In this role, you will play a key part in managing day-to-day office operations, providing administrative assistance, and ensuring smooth communication within the team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the leased offices in line with the tenancy agreement, offering front of house services for guests and visitors, and managing staff passes. Additionally, you will coordinate internal and external meetings, manage meeting room bookings and diaries, and act as the key point of contact for the client\\\’s administrative support team.

This role does not provide visa sponsorship.

To succeed in this role, you must have exceptional organisational and time management abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive administrator. The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office software is essential.

Key Deliverables & Accountabilities

  • Provide efficient support in managing diary management and diary changes effectively.
  • Provide efficient, and effective administration manager support and co-ordinate day to day activities with their teams and key stakeholders including ad-hoc administrative duties.
  • Support in preparation of documentation, presentations, and reports.
  • Communicate and liaise professionally with external key stakeholders as well as internal teams in all areas of our business, building strong collaborative relationships and a wide network of support.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential data appropriately, including GDPR.
  • Maintenance of project organisational charts.
  • Distributing of internal project communications.

This office-based Administrator role is based in Birmingham, offering a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.
