Laidlaw Education LLP has over 30 years' experience as an education consultancy in South West London. We provide personalised, flexible education to pupils on an individual basis and in small groups. We have a specialist learning support department where we help children with a wide range of learning difficulties to reach their academic and social potential.

Responsibilities

The Specialist Dyslexia and Special Needs Teacher will be based in our teaching venue in Kew, London (TW9) and will work with pupils predominantly on an individual basis, delivering personalised face‑to‑face lessons based on the pupils' individual needs, during term time (daytime). Opportunities for teaching mainstream children are also available, if suitably qualified and experienced. And there are potential opportunities for teaching after school, on Saturdays and during the holidays.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should be a qualified SpLD (level 5 or above) Specialist Dyslexia and Special Needs Teacher. We would consider newly qualified specialist teachers. You should be experienced in teaching pupils across a range of ages, and experience of teaching children with ADHD or ASD is an advantage.
