We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Manager to deliver the occupier experience and events across two riverside corporate buildings in Hammersmith and one in Uxbridge. This is a fixed term contract, for up to a year, to cover a period of maternity leave.
LAH provides specialist marketing, workplace and front-of-house services across a number of leading commercial environments. In this role, you will be employed by LAH and work closely with the clients marketing department and management team to design and deliver an engaging programme of events that supports business development objectives and helps build a vibrant workplace community.
You will be responsible for managing a dynamic events calendar, overseeing the planning and execution of both current and future events. Your ability to organise will ensure all events are delivered professionally, within budget, and with clear communication to all key stakeholders.
Leading a team of two, you will set high standards through a hands-on and collaborative approach. You will delegate effectively, provide guidance and support, and ensure the team is equipped to deliver successful events. This will enable you to focus on creating exceptional experiences that leave a lasting positive impression on clients and employees.
Hours: 9.00am β 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Salary: Β£38,000 PA
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of the community programme across the Hammersmith buildings
- Oversee the community experience, including events, communications, partnerships, and wellbeing activity
- Plan and deliver a curated events calendar that includes professional, social, and networking events that support engagement and business development
- Work closely with the Leasing team to plan and deliver events and initiatives that drive customer attraction and commercial opportunities
- Identify opportunities to enhance the existing programme of events, keeping the calendar fresh and current
- Support VIP visits, tours, and key campus events as required
- Provide guidance and support to the team, ensuring effective delivery of events across both sites in Hammersmith and the business park in Uxbridge (this will include working one day per week in Uxbridge)
- Oversee external partners and suppliers to ensure high-quality programme delivery
- Create and circulate an engaging monthly e-newsletter
- Drive engagement through on-site channels, social media, and the member app, ensuring all posts follow brand guidelines
Financial Responsibilities
- Deliver the programme within agreed budgets
- Monitor event performance / feedback and provide regular updates on engagement and impact
Key Relationships
- Develop strong working relationships with the wider teams, including Leasing, Asset Management, and Operations as well as Head of Community
- Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in community management, events, marketing, or office management
- Proven experience of managing and developing a team
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple teams
- Ability to manage and optimise established programmes
- Competent Microsoft Office / App / Social Media user and willing to learn in house systems and processes
- Working knowledge of Hubspot / Canva / Wordpress
- Understanding of the property, workplace, or flexible workspace sector is helpful but not essential
