Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and efficient corporate receptionist who is ready to move into a role with additional facilities management and tenant event responsibilities. You will be highly organised, manage contractors and provide admin support to the off-site Building Manager. The role is based at a modern office building in Central Leeds, with hours Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm. Salary £30,186 per year.

The role involves delivering an exemplary tenant and visitor experience, creating a sense of community in the building. You should be well presented and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role.
Key Responsibilities
- Reception
- Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects the clients’ and tenants’ expectations
- Meeting, greeting and registering all visitors to the building, providing exceptional customer service to all
- Efficiently managing deliveries, including couriers and post
- Stock-check and re-order front of house supplies
- General administration, as required
- Building management
- You will quickly establish yourself as “the face of the building” and the go-to person for questions/queries
- Work closely with the off-site Building Manager – confidently reporting building issues and helping manage to resolution
- Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress/maintenance log
- Work closely with security and contractors to ensure synergy to maintain Front of House standards and procedures
- Assisting with the door access system and BMS (training will be given)
- Produce a weekly report for key stakeholders
- Tenant experience and community engagement
- Organise seasonal events for the tenants to create a sense of community and engagement in the workplace (as required)
- Produce a monthly e-newsletter to update tenants on initiatives, ensuring content is on brand (as required)
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in a front of house reception role and readiness for a new challenge
- Facilities management experience (desirable)
- Personable and proactive with a confident manner and impeccable customer service
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask
- Excellent problem resolution skills and outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Competent Microsoft Office / Canva / Social Media user and willing to learn in-house systems and processes
