We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and efficient corporate receptionist who is ready to move into a role with additional facility management responsibilities. You will relish a challenge and be highly organised, managing contractors and providing admin support to the off‑site Building Manager.
Location: London (Hammersmith)
Hours: Wednesday – Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (30 hrs per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambience reflects the clients’ and tenants’ expectations
- Meeting, greeting and registering all visitors to the building, providing exceptional customer service to all
- Efficiently managing deliveries, including couriers and post
- Act as the face of the building and the go‑to person for questions/queries
- Work closely with the off‑site Building Manager – confidently report building issues and help manage to resolution
- Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issue keys as required and update the progress/maintenance log
- Develop strong working relationships with the local letting agents and support them by keeping any vacant office space pristine in preparation for viewings
- Work closely with security and contractors to ensure perfect synergy to maintain both Front of House standards and procedures
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in a front‑of‑house reception role and readiness for a new challenge
- Facilities management experience (desirable)
- Personable and proactive with a confident manner, able to deliver impeccable customer service
- Self‑motivated and thrive in an environment where multitasking is required
- Excellent problem‑resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Competent Microsoft Office / App / Social Media user and willing to learn in‑house systems and processes
