We have an exciting opportunity for a corporate receptionist to take full ownership of the front of house services at a fabulous office building in London, working Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm. You will bring energy, warmth, and personality to the reception area, recognising the importance of delivering added‑value events to create a strong sense of community within the building. You will be well presented, have proven relevant experience, and possess the confidence and professionalism required to thrive in this busy and varied role.

Key Responsibilities
- Reception responsibilities
- Set up and maintain a welcoming, professional reception and lounge area that reflects the expectations of both clients and tenants.
- Greet and manage all visitors to the building to ensure a warm and personal welcome– following the appropriate sign‑in processes.
- Preparing refreshments for visitors and guests using a state‑of‑the‑art coffee machine.
- Represent the developer or landlord in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
- Oversee all deliveries, including couriers and post.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
- Submit weekly reports on site activity, where necessary.
- General management of the building
- You will quickly establish yourself as ‘the face of the building’ and the go‑to person for questions / queries.
- Work closely with the Building Manager – confidently reporting building issues and helping manage to resolution.
- Build a rapport and communicate with all service partners (contractors, cleaners, security) to ensure consistency of standards.
- Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress / maintenance log.
- Develop strong working relationships with the letting agents and support them by ensuring any vacant office space is kept pristine in preparation for viewings.
- Produce a weekly update report for key stakeholders.
- Tenant experience and community engagement
- Research, develop and implement a calendar of events and promotional activities, such as pop‑up markets and seasonal events (e.g., summer and Christmas functions), supporting local businesses wherever possible.
- Monitor feedback and participation and be proactive in recommending or tailoring events to suit demand.
- Produce a comprehensive local amenities guide and develop in‑depth knowledge of the surrounding area.
- Create and circulate an engaging monthly tenant newsletter.
- Research and implement added‑value services (with client approval) such as car valeting, dry cleaning, fitness memberships, professional networking, and sustainability initiatives.
- Negotiate tenant discounts or complimentary offers with local shops, restaurants, and gyms (subject to client approval).
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in a front of house reception role and are ready for a new challenge.
- Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service.
- Proactive, self‑motivated and thrive in an environment where you are required to multitask.
- Confident using PCs, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Experience using Canva or other graphic design tools.
- Event planning and coordination skills.
- Desirable: Barista trained.
- Advantageous: Understanding of building operations and facilities management.
