We are looking for a warm, professional and service-minded Front of House Receptionist to create an exceptional first impression within a premium commercial office building. This is a highly visible role where you will be the face of the building, welcoming tenants, visitors and contractors, maintaining a polished reception environment and helping to create a positive and lasting impression for everyone who uses the building. You will work independently on site, with support from LAH Property Marketing and the Building Management team. The role provides autonomy and trust, and suits someone who enjoys ownership, takes pride in high standards and can bring calm, confidence and personality to a front-of-house environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Delivery
- Providing a warm and professional welcome to tenants, visitors and contractors;
- Taking ownership of the reception area so it remains organised, presentable and welcoming;
- Supporting the smooth running of reception, including visitors, contractors, deliveries and couriers;
- Dealing confidently with competing priorities at reception;
- Preparing refreshments for guests where required;
- Supporting routine tenant or building queries and directing issues to the right person;
- Carrying out visual checks of reception or agreed areas and reporting presentation, maintenance or operational issues through the correct process.
- Communication
- Communicating clearly and professionally with tenants, visitors, colleagues and service partners;
- Producing short updates, handovers or reports where required;
- Assisting with tenant notices or general building communication where needed;
- Escalating issues appropriately and keeping the right people informed.
- Professional Standards
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, conduct and reliability;
- Being punctual, dependable and ready to start work on time;
- Following building procedures and supporting health and safety standards;
- Representing LAH and the building in a professional and positive manner.
- Independence
- Managing reception confidently on a day-to-day basis;
- Prioritising tasks during busy and quieter periods;
- Using judgement to identify and escalate issues to Building Management, LAH or service partners where needed.
Success in the role depends not only on completing tasks, but on how they are delivered in practice. These areas reflect the standards used during hiring, induction, probation and ongoing performance reviews.

- Working in a premium, professional environment;

- A warm, confident and professional manner;

- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in front of house, hospitality, hotels, corporate services or similar customer-facing roles is welcome, but not essential. We are more interested in your attitude, professionalism and ability to meet the standards of the role.
