Description: Fixed-Term Corporate Receptionist – Birmingham. Salary: £12.60 Per Hour. We are seeking organised, adaptable, and professional Corporate Receptionists to support our sites during the busy period. This role is ideal for candidates who can provide exceptional service, remain flexible with scheduling, and are fully available throughout the contract term. As a Corporate Receptionist, you will be a key team member across multiple corporate buildings. You’ll deliver a welcoming, efficient, and consistent service to colleagues, visitors, and tenants while supporting day-to-day reception operations.
Site Coverage
- You must be willing and able to attend any site within your region as instructed.
- Travel between locations may be required depending on operational needs.
Working Hours
- Shifts are typically 8–10 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
- Hours may vary in line with business demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Front of house reception: Provide seamless temporary reception cover, taking ownership of the reception area and meeting clients' and tenants' expectations. Be the welcoming face of the building for the day by greeting and managing visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Represent key stakeholders with a knowledgeable and positive approach. Effectively manage couriers, post, and all deliveries. Conduct general administration tasks. Submit weekly reports on site activity as required.
- Building Management: Develop effective relationships with clients, agents, and contractors. Ensure the reception area is impeccably presented at all times. Maintain pristine vacant spaces available for viewing. Collaborate with property and facilities managers to ensure contractors carry out their duties effectively. Report and manage issues through the correct processes. Prioritize building security. Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Additional Tenant Experience: Read the local amenities file in the site notes to understand the area you are stationed. Be aware of the site's added value/promotional events and be prepared to support as required.
