Assistant Regional Manager – part time

London and surrounding area

LAH provide front of house receptionists for premium commercial offices, working with Landlords, Investors and Property Management Companies. We’ve been established for over 35 years and as an independent, nationwide business, we recognise the importance of everyone who works for us.

What we’re looking for

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Assistant Regional Manager, who will support the Regional Manager in leading our front of house reception teams to achieve top-tier service standards, client satisfaction, and consistent operational performance. You will act as a key liaison between LAH, our clients, and on-site teams, playing an essential role in supporting day-to-day operations while driving strategic projects forward.

You will live within easy reach of central London – the region includes Croydon, Hammersmith, Ealing, The City, West End and Mayfair. Ideally, a car owner/driver, you may also be required to travel to a small number of locations in Surrey and Kent.

Hours

Part time working on Thursday and Friday - 8 hours per day

(*hours / start times may vary to meet business needs). Flexibility needed to support reception cover or emergency requests.

Key Responsibilities

Daily operations

  • Serve as the first \'go-to\' individual for all day-to-day enquiries across sites, resolving issues where possible or escalating to the Regional Manager as needed
  • Manage the day-to-day operations at each site, providing support in operations, administration, and welfare to the LAH reception teams
  • Occasionally stand in for the Regional Manager at client meetings to ensure continuity of our LAH service to clients
  • Work alongside the Regional Manager on varied projects, prioritising according to business needs
  • Oversee and mentor the Operations Executives, providing guidance on site management, service delivery, and professional growth

Site Visits

  • Work collaboratively with the Regional Manager to develop and maintain a site visit schedule in accordance with LAH standard operating guidelines. Ensure timely post-visit follow up communications are delivered and shared with key stakeholders
  • Conduct regular welfare checks at designated sites, reporting findings to the Regional Manager and relevant teams
  • Collaborate with the on-site representative to set up social engagement initiatives for on-site events. Monitor site delivery of events, supporting the representatives to ensure success

Administration

  • Maintain accountability and reports for health, safety, and compliance across the region, managing site documentation and ensuring risk assessments are current and complete
  • Work closely with the Cover Department to implement effective absence management for your representatives. Promptly identify and communicate any issues to the Regional Manager / Director and collaborate to develop effective solutions in managing staff attendance

Assistance with site cover

  • Embrace the demands of the role, including travel and flexible hours, to provide occasional temporary cover for reception within the region, as business needs dictates
  • Utilise your experience and understanding of individual site needs to work closely with the Cover Department. Ensure that cover allocation is suitably adjusted to meet site demands and maintain service levels
