Joining Vehicle Solutions, part of Motability Operations Limited, the UK\’s largest vehicle leasing company. Due to growth and the opening of our new state-of-the-art refurbishment centre, we are seeking a paint technician to join our vehicle reconditioning team in Coalville, Leicestershire. Reporting to the cosmetic team leads, the primary objective of this role is to ensure that vehicles are prepared according to reconditioning standards.

Our paint technicians play a crucial role in ensuring vehicles meet Motability Operations\’ performance and quality standards by enhancing the appearance of the paintwork.

As a paint technician, your daily tasks will include applying primer, basecoat, clear coat, and preparing vehicles for painting. You will have access to new booths, spray guns, market-leading products, and all necessary PPE.

Qualifications

We seek a diverse candidate passionate about the automotive industry, emphasizing quality. Your keen eye and technical skills will ensure vehicles are repaired to Motability standards. Proficiency in the latest methods and a collaborative approach in a dynamic environment are essential.

Minimum Criteria

• Legally able to drive a manual vehicle in the UK
• Experience in paint application
• Experience in primer application
• Accident repair experience
• Masking and vehicle preparation in booths
• Paint mixing experience
