Job purpose: As a Sales Advisor, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers with product inquiries, and help drive sales in a retail environment. You will ensure that the store is well-stocked, organised, and visually appealing. Additionally, you will handle transactions, manage customer issues, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role is for our Discover London store at Heathrow Airport.

Contract: 37.5 hours per week, worked across 5 days.

Key responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and offer assistance with product selection.
  • Provide detailed product information and recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Assist with stock management, including restocking shelves and organizing displays.
  • Handle customer transactions, including cash, credit, and returns.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to store goals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, store promotions, and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Accessing the airport: A five-year working and personal reference, along with a Criminal Reference Check, will be required for this role as the store is airside in the departures lounge.
