Exciting new opportunity in travel retail, supporting a fast-paced retail and food service business, where every day brings new opportunities to grow and make an impact!

Job purpose: The role is responsible for delivering accurate and insightful reporting, analysis, and financial planning to support business performance. This includes designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and automated reports, analysing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Contract: 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting & dashboards: Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility of business performance. Develop and manage automated reporting solutions, reducing reliance on manual processes and improving data accuracy and consistency. Produce regular performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for both operational teams, senior stakeholders and Airports.
  • Data analysis & insight: Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers, highlighting opportunities and risks. Conduct deep-dive analyses to explain changes in performance and support strategic and operational decision-making. Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Support the preparation of annual budgets, including coordinating inputs from budget holders, reviewing assumptions, and ensuring consistency across the organisation. Review and challenge budget and forecast assumptions, ensuring plans are robust, data-driven, and aligned to business strategy.
  • Month end: Prepare monthly management accounts analysis, including commentary on variances versus budget, forecast, and prior periods. Ad-hoc analysis upon request.
Qualifications
  • Business degree, finance qualification (part qualified)
  • 3-4 years' experience in FP&A/analytical roles in retail. Experience in F&B would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience developing Power BI dashboards and data models, including strong proficiency in DAX, data transformation, and integrating multiple data sources.
  • Proven ability to deliver automated, accurate, and visually effective Power BI reporting solutions that support financial analysis and business decision-making.
  • Good Excel Skills: Excellent Excel capabilities; can demonstrate understanding and experience of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF. Highly proficient at manipulating and analysing large volumes of data in order to identify key commercial issues/trends.
  • Familiar with using business intelligence tools like Business Warehouse or BI4. Experience of SAP Business Intelligence and SAP Analysis for Office would be advantageous.
