We are currently looking for energetic, enthusiastic new members for our morning shift to join the team that have a passion for excellence, teamwork and great food!

Previous experience in a food environment and a customer-facing role preferred but not essential.

Hours: 30 hrs, worked across 4 days | 3:30 AM - 9 AM

Job Purpose

The Kitchen Team Member is responsible for supporting kitchen operations by preparing food to a high standard, ensuring strict food hygiene practices, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will play a key role in delivering a seamless back-of-house experience that supports the wider team and contributes to excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to standard recipes and portion sizes.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and allergen control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, including equipment, surfaces, and storage areas.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform the manager of any shortages or required replenishments.
  • Receive, check, and store deliveries safely and appropriately.
  • Support kitchen deep-cleaning schedules and daily hygiene checklists.
  • Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any faults or concerns.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Work efficiently with the team to support smooth service and fast turnaround times.
  • Report all hazards and/or concerns immediately to the manager on duty.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred but not essential.
  • Awareness of food hygiene standards and willingness to undertake training.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
