Job Type: Full-time - Permanent
Reporting to: Project Manager / Construction Director
Location: Greater Belfast

Role Overview
As a Housing Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, high-quality and profitable delivery of private family homes. It is expected that you will support with management of these projects in a professional and diligent manner, ensuring milestones and objectives are met.
What you'll do
- Oversee the construction of projects from conception to completion.
- Ensure that projects are delivered to the highest quality, safely, on time and to projected profit levels.
- Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations, ensuring that policy and procedures are implemented throughout the operations.
- Using an effective leadership style to ensure that all functions within the project are managed and operating to agreed objectives and targets.
- Liaise with the client on site and represent the Company at progress meetings.
- Liaise with all external bodies, statutory authorities and key stakeholders.
- Ensure overall client and external body satisfaction with construction process and end product.
- Ensure the project is always on or ahead of programme.
- Manage risk and opportunity effectively throughout the project.
- Play a part in the selection of the correct supply chain, and then manage this supply chain effectively to deliver the project.
- Management of Project Quality on a daily basis.
- Review RAMS issued by sub-contractors.
- Provide micro programmes/period look aheads to ensure detailed project monitoring.
- Raise Technical queries and issue to consultants.
- Develop Progress reports with the assistance of Senior Management and commercial teams.
- Ensure that good relations with suppliers are established and maintained.
- Keep an accurate record of site activities throughout the project.
- Promote company values on a daily basis.
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years experience in the management of housing construction sites and projects.
- Experience in the delivery of Timber Frame construction.
- Chartered CIOB Membership or progressing towards this.
- Experience of delivering residential schemes to NHBC Best Practice standards or equivalent.
- A positive awareness of the Commercial Management of site issues.
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (5-day SMSTS).
- CSR/CSCS Qualification or equivalent.
- Strong capabilities with relevant IT software.
- Relevant experience of client and end user engagement.
- Scaffold inspection training.
- Qualified first aider.
