London Academy of Excellence (LAE) is seeking to recruit an ECT or experienced Teacher of Biology to join its exceptional Biology Department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering inspirational, science‑focused lessons that meet the individual needs of students.
  • Adapting and reassessing lesson plans to ensure all learners can access the curriculum.
  • Building positive relationships with students and their families.
  • Engaging in pupils’ pastoral and personal development, with an additional allowance for those taking significant pastoral duties.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or eligibility to QTS) or experience as a Teacher of Biology.
  • Degree qualifications in Biology desirable.
  • Demonstrated passion for biology and commitment to providing a first‑rate education to all students.

Additional requirements:

  • Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment screening, including an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
