More about the role:

As Head Chef, you’ll bring your skills and experience to our kitchen and the provision of creative, high-quality and nutritious meals for our fantastic residents. You will showcase available fresh produce in the creation of varied menus while also ensuring all necessary dietary requirements are met. Self‑motivated and reliable, you will have experience in stock control and ordering in line with budgets. You will also ensure all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately and the kitchen, dining areas, including equipment, are cleaned to statutory Health and Safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 3 catering qualification or equivalent, or a commitment to undertake further training and development relevant to the role.
  • Knowledge and experience in creating menus and preparing and serving creative, high-quality and nutritious meals in a commercial environment.
  • Experience in stock control and ordering fresh food, in line with budgets.
  • Knowledge of food standards, health and safety, and food allergens to meet all regulatory standards.
