You will:
- Support a child with physical and learning disabilities in our Resource Room
- Be kind and friendly
- Enjoy working with energetic children who often rely on adult support
- Have the appropriate childcare qualifications or will engage in appropriate training to obtain qualifications
- Work well with other staff and agencies
- Be well motivated, have a positive attitude and be emotionally resilient
- Have the ability to work in a 1:1 situation and to teach small groups
- Be able to deliver interventions such as Speech & Language or Occupational Therapy (training will be given)
- Use technology such as iPads or computers to adapt work for children with special educational needs
