Learning Support Assistant for SEND (TA3)

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant to provide a higher level of support across the curriculum so that learners secure swift progress. We are looking for exceptional colleagues who can meet the following criteria:

  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment and on their own initiative
  • A general understanding of the curriculum and of classroom roles and responsibilities
  • A passion for ensuring that each and every learner flourishes and feels proud of their achievements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Current holder of the Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or higher
  • Several years’ experience in a previous school
  • A willingness to take on the additional responsibilities associated with the TA3 position
  • A willingness to work towards the Level 3 qualification

Job Type: 30 hours per week, term time only

Contract Length: Temporary contract, covering Maternity leave until 21st July 2026 / until substantive postholder returns
