We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide support for learners across the curriculum so that they secure swift progress. We are looking for an exceptional colleague with

  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • A general understanding of the curriculum and of classroom roles and responsibilities
  • A passion for ensuring that each and every learner flourishes and feels proud of his/her individual achievements
  • The ability to build and maintain successful relationships with learners, to treat them consistently with respect and consideration and demonstrate concern for the development as learners
  • Strong inter-personal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a primary or secondary school TA2 - Grade D SCP 06 11 with SEN Allowance
  • actual salary Β£19,279.00 to Β£20,787.00 per annum
  • 30 hours per week, term time only
  • working 8.40am - 3.10pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Fridays and 8.40am till 4pm on Tuesdays
  • Required for as soon as possible
  • Fixed term and permanent contracts available
