Ladybird is growing! Due to internal promotions within our senior team, we are now looking for an inspirational and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our wonderful setting in Beckenham.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for early years education and a successful, proven track record in management.

  • Experience: At least 3 years’ experience of nursery management (Deputy or Nursery Manager).
  • Qualifications: Level 3 or above full and relevant early years qualification.
  • Knowledge: Excellent, up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS framework, Safeguarding, and UK childcare regulations.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) is essential.
  • Attitude: A fun, 'can-do' attitude with the ability to motivate a team and a commitment to every child’s success.

  • Inspire & Guide: Lead the nursery team, fostering a culture of continuous high performance.
  • Curriculum Excellence: Ensure the curriculum is implemented effectively and is fully aligned with EYFS principles.
  • Safeguarding: Act as a champion for the welfare and safety of every child.
  • Operations: Manage staffing, resources, recruitment, and occupancy effectively to drive continuous improvement.
