Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Set up rooms each morning, complete risk assessments, and ensure all materials and activities are prepared to meet the plans for the day.
  • Help organize and take part in activities, ensuring you are well-prepared for your assigned tasks.
  • Conduct and update observations of individual children to support their development.
  • Work closely with the room leader and other staff members to maintain high standards of care and education.
  • Keep parents informed about their child's development and encourage their active participation in the nursery experience.
  • Handle all information regarding children, families, and staff with the utmost discretion and adhere to child protection guidelines.
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene, maintain equipment, and create a safe, stimulating environment for children.
  • Be proactive in updating your training and assisting in curriculum planning and special events.
