Lady Margaret Hall (LMH) is seeking two Events Managers (permanent and one-year fixed term contract) with good people skills, communication skills and admin skills to join the College's enthusiastic and hard-working Conference team. LMH is a constituent College of the University of Oxford and is located in peaceful, spacious gardens beside the University Parks. The lovely setting makes LMH an excellent venue for conferences and events.

The LMH Conference team manage a wide range of events from day meetings and residential conferences to banquets, weddings and B&B as well as summer schools and short academic programmes. The Events Manager will have a key role in helping to win new Conference business, as well as managing events and B&B bookings and providing support to other team members.

The role is perfect for a motivated and energetic individual with a passion for customer service and a collaborative spirit, who is eager to contribute to the success of a thriving events programme. Candidates should possess a degree-level education and have previous customer service experience, with a demonstrable track record of success in delivering outstanding customer service within a similar role.

The post-holder must be able to attend some events during evenings and weekends, for which time off in lieu will be granted. While the role primarily requires working from LMH, there is the possibility of working from home for some of the time, as agreed upon with the line manager.
