Contract period: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days a week, 9am-6pm)

Working environment: This is a hybrid role, 3-days a week in the Lady Garden Foundation office based within a communications agency - a lively and animated working environment.

Terms of appointment and benefits include:

About the Lady Garden Foundation: The Lady Garden Foundation is a national women’s health charity on a mission to end the silence surrounding gynaecological cancers. Through awareness, education, and research funding, we empower women and girls to understand their bodies, recognise symptoms early, and seek care with confidence. We’re a small but ambitious team with a big vision - to change the conversation around women’s health in the UK and beyond. The Role: The Communications and Impact Executive will play a crucial role in the rollout of our awareness and education programmes to women and girls across the UK. Primarily, this will include our University Education Programme as well as working with agencies to manage our social media platforms. We are looking for a confident, outgoing individual, comfortable in managing competing priorities and who is able to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will be energetic, flexible and reliable in their day to day activities, have a keen eye for detail and excellent writing and organisational skills. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support the Management and Delivery of Our Education Programme Across UK Universities and Schools
  • Coordinate and oversee the rollout of educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness of women’s health issues among university students and schools.
  • Develop engaging, age-appropriate content tailored to both student and school audiences, including workshops, talks, assemblies, and digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with academic departments, student services, health & wellbeing teams, and school leadership to integrate our programme into existing educational frameworks.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme impact, gathering feedback to continuously improve delivery and engagement across both sectors.
  • Manage the Activation of Our Student Ambassador Network
  • Recruit, train, and support a diverse network of student ambassadors across UK universities.
  • Empower ambassadors to lead on-campus initiatives, host events, and act as peer educators and advocates for the Lady Garden Foundation.
  • Provide regular communication, resources, and mentorship to ensure ambassadors feel confident and supported in their roles.
  • Brand Partnerships
  • Manage relationships with existing and potential brand partners, ensuring activations, campaigns, and deliverables are delivered to a high standard.
  • Support the development of new partnership opportunities that align with the Foundation’s mission and growth goals.
  • Coordinate campaign logistics and creative assets with partners and agencies, maintaining consistent brand representation.
  • Communications and Digital Engagement
  • Developing social media strategies with the aim to increase awareness of the signs and symptoms of the five gynaecological cancers.
  • Draft other digital comms including email newsletters, invitations, blog posts etc.
  • Drafting of fundraising and charity activity impact reports.
  • Website management, email marketing and database management.
  • Management of social media accounts - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok.
  • Support with capturing content for the Lady Garden Foundation’s social media sites - Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok (possibly Twitter) as well as website, including support with writing blogs, posts and multimedia content.
  • Attend events when required, including occasional weekends and evenings and provide support to the wider team when required.
  • Awareness and research of key health issues and updates in the gynae arena (general).
  • Awareness and research of activity from other charities within the sector (general).
  • To undertake other duties across the Lady Garden Foundation that may be required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Proficient skills in Canva and Squarespace
  • A good understanding of the charity landscape including Fundraising Regulations
  • Effective diary management including your own
  • Ability to manage multiple activities at one time including direction from multiple individuals
  • An understanding of women’s health issues and the gynae landscape including the five gynaecological cancers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
