We are looking for a compassionate, full-time vet, confident in consultations, case work-ups, general surgery and sole charge to deliver excellence in care for our patients and clients. We are very fortunate to have a friendly, supportive and experienced team of veterinary surgeons, qualified nurses, a VCA, receptionists and a practice manager, some of whom have worked with us for over two decades.
Our Faversham practice is a purpose-built, spacious site with large consult rooms, separate dog and cat waiting areas, ample parking, and is located next to a large pet store. It is easily located from the A2 with easy links to Canterbury, London and Coastal destinations. Our smaller Whitstable practice is a sole vet clinic and has been recently refurbished. It is located only a few minutes' walk from the beautiful beach and many novelty shops and restaurants. The town also hosts a famous annual Oyster Festival.
Our clinical equipment includes in-practice Idexx laboratories, microscopes, woods lamps, digital x-ray with floating tables and AI program to support you in diagnosis, K-Laser, multiparameter machines, syringe driver, infusion pumps, ultrasonic dental equipment, dental x-ray, ultrasounds, dopplers, tonometer, cautery and an endoscope.
We reward professional development and will support your growth with a certificate and offer comfortable, quiet office space for our vets to carry out administrative work and CPD. Our restrooms always have a snack or two, and our practice cat is often found accompanying the team on one of the many chairs. We always pride ourselves on good communication, collaboration and offer regular opportunities to discuss cases in clinical meetings and encourage you to voice your views, ideas and concerns in a safe and supportive environment.
