Ladwa Recruitment are working in an exclusive partnership with a prestigious listed organisation, seeking a Company Secretarial Assistant to join their busy Company Secretariat department.
This leading and international business is seeking an experienced governance professional to join their growing, fast paced Secretariat function. Working closely with a supportive and collaborative secretariat team, reporting into the Deputy Company Secretary, this is a fantastic opportunity for varied and challenging work within a PLC. You will support in all aspects of governance and administration, Group compliance and work alongside various entities and department to facilitate robust governance.
- Support in the organisation of board and committee meetings; preparation and distribution of agendas, papers and minutes.
- Assist with the maintenance of statutory registers.
- Help with the submission of filings to the relevant local registers e.g. Companies House.
- Supporting with the Annual Report & Accounts, including editing content and liaising with auditors and other stakeholders.
- Assist with subsidiary governance through the Entity Management Platform.
- Support with share scheme administration.
- Managing UK & international subsidiaries and ensuring compliance with the global governance framework.
- Contribute to governance and compliance projects.
- Support with data protections and GDPR compliance.
This role will suit an ambitious, capable and hardworking candidate, with the desire to progress within the governance field. Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, proactive mindset and willingness to ask questions are important qualities desired.
Previous experience in a company secretarial, governance, legal, risk management or compliance environment would be beneficial. Good understanding of the corporate governance and regulatory requirements is advantageous.
