Ladwa Recruitment are working in partnership with a prestigious listed organisation, recruiting an experienced Assistant Company Secretary to join their Company Secretariat department. This entrepreneurial organisation is seeking an experienced governance professional to join their growing, fast paced Secretariat function.
Working closely with a supportive and collaborative secretariat team, reporting into the Deputy Company Secretary, this is a fantastic opportunity for varied and challenging work within a PLC.
- Support the board and committee process, such as drafting agendas, assisting with the creation of board papers and uploading papers to our board portal.
- Managing UK & international subsidiaries and ensuring compliance with the global governance framework.
- Managing MAR compliance.
- Supporting with the Annual Report & Accounts, including drafting & reviewing content, and liaising with auditors and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Leading the AGM and other shareholder meetings.
- Managing the director induction processes and maintaining director induction, training and conflict registers.
- Lead on corporate projects, such as legal entity rationalisation.
- Supporting and mentoring other members of the team.
This role will suit an ambitious, capable and hardworking candidate who is keen to enhance governance & compliance processes within the Group. A good understanding of the corporate governance and regulatory requirements of a listed organisation is essential.
