Job Role: Tournament Administrator
Department: Operations
Location: Buckinghamshire Golf Club every Tuesday, working from home, attending tournaments.
Hours: Full time, salaried

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tournament Administrator based in Denham, Buckinghamshire. The Tournament Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Tournament Director on the competition aspects and administration duties at LET tournaments, ensuring a consistently high standard in terms of Tournament and Membership Administration. To be the main point of contact for Tour Players as the person they approach for any matter relating to the tour/events and policies.
Tournament Administration
- Working closely with the Tournament Director to ensure events are delivered effectively to meet the needs of the Tour Players and Staff.
- Liaising with the promoters, venue operators, suppliers and other partners both before and during the event to ensure effective event delivery.
- Coordinate all outside the ropes aspects of a tournament on behalf of the Tour Players and Staff to help ensure that player services are delivered to a consistently high standard at each event.
- Manage day to day player queries and general administration.
- Assist with ensuring the standards contained within the Members’ Regulations are upheld.
- Prepare and share a regular email/newsletter to the members with latest updates, use as a tool to enhance the community nature of the tour.
- Regular review of LET event check lists and update as and when required.
- Assist with the management of the OCS tournament software system.
- Management of all performance related data referring to World Rankings, player statistics, points tables etc.
- Assisting and completing any other tasks as required by the Tournament Directors or any other departments to develop an enhanced knowledge of the organisation.

- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Good time management and multi-tasking skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Enjoys working and being part of a team
- Able to work to specific deadlines both individually and as part of a team
- Experience in sports administration or event management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
- Knowledge of golf and tournament regulations is a plus
- Prepared to work long hours and ability to travel worldwide
- Bachelor’s degree in golf / sport management or a relevant qualification to a similar level
