Position: Military & Family Readiness Center (MFRC) Family Services Consultant Location: RAF Croughton, United Kingdom (with travel to RAF Fairford and RAF Welford at least once per month) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (one-hour lunch break).
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and coordinate MFRC programs in line with DAFI 36-3009, including relocation, employment assistance, volunteer resources, personal/work life, and deployment support events.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver classes, workshops, and special events that promote readiness and resilience.
- Disseminate information on MFRC services and local resources; maintain the Plan My Move database.
- Attend Community Action Team/Board meetings, providing insight on trends and family service needs.
- Maintain accurate records in the AFFIRST database and provide required reporting.
- Promote programs at commander’s calls, spouses’ groups, and through social media.
- Coordinate and track budget requirements for Family Services programs.
- Support the Emergency Family Assistance Center (EFAC) during crises and emergencies.
- Uphold professional standards, confidentiality, and compliance with the Privacy Act.
Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills; fluent in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and social media.
- At least 2 years’ experience in program coordination, family support, or related field preferred.
- Ability to travel to RAF Fairford and RAF Welford as required.
