We're looking for a Finance Assistant to join LADbible Group and support our colleagues at Betches Media, one of the most influential digital media brands in the US. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their finance career who wants more than a traditional transactional accounting role. You'll be part of a fast-moving, entrepreneurial team, gaining hands-on experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue operations, reporting and financial planning. You’ll play a key role in keeping the finance function running smoothly while building a broad understanding of how a modern digital media business operates. If you're curious, organised, eager to learn and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where no two days are quite the same, we'd love to hear from you.
What the opportunity looks like
- Support day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, billing checks, collections tracking and reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable processes, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing and payment runs.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure finance processes are completed efficiently and on time.
- Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and revenue-related checks.
Revenue & Reporting Support
- Assist with tracking sales pipeline activity, bookings, billings and cash collections.
- Support weekly and monthly revenue reporting and performance updates.
- Help prepare financial reports and maintain reliable data across finance systems and reporting tools.
- Work with colleagues across the business to gather information and support decision-making through accurate financial data.
Analysis & Growth
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc analysis projects.
- Support process improvement initiatives and help identify ways to make finance operations more efficient.
- Gain exposure to wider commercial and financial activities across both LADbible Group and Betches Media.
- Take ownership of projects and responsibilities as your skills and experience develop.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years' experience in a finance, accounting or related role.
- Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable or month-end processes is beneficial, but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, financial systems and large volumes of data.
- Naturally organised, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious, proactive and keen to learn new skills.
- A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues across different functions and locations.
- Excited by the opportunity to work within a growing, entrepreneurial business where you'll have the chance to make a real impact.
What You’ll Get
- Full study support towards a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Broad exposure across accounting, finance, commercial operations and reporting.
- The opportunity to work closely with experienced finance professionals and accelerate your development.
- A role with genuine variety, responsibility and room to grow.
- The chance to be part of an ambitious, fast-growing media business operating across the UK and US.
